NCVT
The Craftsman Training Scheme (CTS) was introduced by Govt. of india to ensure a steady flow ofg skilled workers in different trades for different industries .The administration is under the director general of Employent and Training (DGE &t) Ministry of Lobour Govt as the advisory boby,which Function as the central agency,is the National Council For Vocational Training (NCVT)
With a view to ensure and mainains uniformity in the standards of training all over the countries the NCVt was set up in 1956. All india trade Test (AITT) examination will be conducted by NCVT for the award of National Trade Certifiete (NCVT) to the trainees who qualify for the test after successfully completed training I.T.I
The National Council is chaired by Minsitry of labour with representing Central and state Govt.Department of Employers and Workers Organizations,AICTE,All india Women Organisation etc. it is essential for all ITI is to get affiliated to NCVT in each trades before admitting the trainees.
KGCE
The KGCE Courses under the Techanical Education Department,Govt.of Kerala.The minimum qualification for the KGCE Course is SSLC pass.the Candidate must have complete the prescribed courses of study in the concerned branch for two years at the Engineering Institution duly recognized by the Govt.of Kerala and securing not less than 80% attendance.
