THE FOUNDATION OF ISEAI
We are pleased to announce the foundation of the International Society of Environmentally Acquired Illness (ISEAI), a nonprofit professional medical society for clinical and environmental professionals, researchers and advocates in the field of environmentally acquired illnesses.
ISEAI was created as a collaborative organization to raise awareness of the underlying causes of environmentally acquired inflammatory illnesses, (e.g. CIRS), serve as an open and respectful forum for the exchange of scientific and clinical information, and advance the knowledge of environmentally acquired inflammatory illness as a new discipline of medicine. Our goals include conferences that promote the cross-pollination of ideas among different disciplines, a certification program that will train providers to diagnose and treat environmental illnesses through the use of critical thinking, research initiatives that are free of bias or conflict of interest, and a peer-reviewed journal. Light in the Darkness

Having mold illness, Lyme, and co-infections, is nothing short of trying to navigate life in a pitch black maze—every day and every night. As a toxic and sensitive patient, recovering under Dr. Nathan’s care, I’m grateful for the light shed by this book, his other publications, his program “Cutting Edge of Health and Wellness”, and his practice.
This book details current information needed by health care professionals. It is essential education for anyone who has mold illness, Lyme, or both. It is a reassuring resource for patients needing clarification and review. It is also a clear and succinct resource for a sufferer to refer to interested and/or doubtful friends and family.
Congratulations to Dr. Nathan and the few doctors willing to do all they can. Rather than waiting for more information and less controversy in this area of desperate need, (thereby sacrificing sufferers), they are courageously stepping up. In his book, Dr. Nathan clearly shows the ways he is seeking and refining the help he is offering. It is another step toward ending this darkness.

This is a ground-breaking research publication which clearly demonstrates that Chronic Fatigue Syndrome/ME is a biochemical illness (NOT psychosomatic) in which we can clearly measure specific imbalances from the blood of CFS patients. These imbalances differ between men and women, but the specifics of these results give great hope that we now have a test which can delineate CFS patients. This is the first in an anticipated series of research papers designed to clarify the chemistry of a wide variety of chronic illnesses: how they may be similar, and different. The next research project, already underway, with Dr. Paul Chaney’s CFS patients should be completed soon.
