The Blessing Of Swami

Shri Swami Math at Malviya Nagar, Nagpur is boundless merciful blessings of Gurunam Guru, Dattavadhut, Anantkoti, Bramhand Nayak. All our devotees worship Shri Swami Maharaj of Akkalkot. Any social or spiritual work need divine support. Beginning of a work, its propaganda and expansion, the work becoming publicly known, their actual participation in the work, maintain consistency in the work, It becomes immortal, continuity without break. All these things are beyond human capabilities. Hence the blessings of Satguru, God almighty are absolutely essential. This is the Eighth year of Shri Swami Math of Malviya Nagar. Prior to this, the adoration of Shri Swami used to be in my house. When I look back at the work done so far, complete visualization of it is before my eyes.

I still remember the first adoration (upasana). It is due to the inspiration by the senior most devotee Shri Annaji Kavishvar. We started our first adoration on Thursday 3rd Jan 2002. During this period we were just unaware of the establishment of any kind of institution (mandal). From the first day till today the adoration is being consistently performed on every Thursday without any break. Quite good number of devotees used to be present in my house and now also in math. This is all possible due to blessings and wishes of Shri Swami. Despite all hindrances and obstacles it is continuously being performed. All festivals is successfully carried out every year. In order to give legal form to this spiritual work, a trust is established under the banner of Shri Swami Seva Mandal started functioning from 31st oct 2003. From the appearance day (Prakat Din) of Shri Swami Maharaj to the Dattajayanti Shri Swami�s rosary (jap) is composed. It is concluded in the form of oblation (yadnya).

Many devotees willfully joined us in this venture. We all felt it necessary to have an independent place for Shri Swami Samartha in the city of Nagpur. We started searching for the place. However, it was impossible for us to purchase the land and construct the math due to high value of land. During this period we got information about the land at Malviya nagar and we tried our level best to acquire it. Our efforts and dreams came into reality when Shri Anilji Dandekar , the president of Snehwardhak Co-operative society helped us in acquiring the land. It is impossible to get rid of from his obligations and Malviyanagar citizens in creation of math are valuable. The land worshiping ceremony was performed on the auspicious day of Gudhipadwa in 2006.

By the blessings of Shri Swami and the co-operation of devotees within the span of one year the huge structure of math got constructed. This structured building consists of sanctum (Garbhgriha), meditation hall, a store room. The math is established and founded on 21st march 2007, the appearance day (prakat din) of Shri Swami Maharaj. The mask of Shri Swami Maharaj is instituted in the sanctum. This mask resembles one which is in Akkalkot. The lying idol (embodiment) of Shri Swami is kept in the meditation hall. The Embodiment is furnished beautifully by Shri Yatinji Pandit of Nasik. I am not sure whether this kind of embodiment is anywhere. It is instituted under the priesthood (Paurohitya) of Param Pujyaniya Shri Vinayak Shastri Arvikar and the routine work of math is as follows

•  'Rudrabhishek' of Lord Shiva in the morning hours. 
•  'Aarti' at 12 noon with offerings (Naivedya).  
•  'Aarti' at 8.30 pm arti is performed. 
•  Abhishek by the hands of devotees on every Thursday and Sunday. 
•  Laghurudra (Worshiping Lord Shiva by Sprinkling water) daily in Shravan Mas (During Rainy Season). 

Shri Swami's appearance day of 2008 was fixed for the institution of apex (KALASA) of math. The Program was carried out under the priesthood of Arvikar Shastri and inaugurated at the hands of Param Pujyaniya Satguru Panditkaka Dhangare Maharaj of Washim.

•  3. Guru-Pournima (worshiping guru). 
•  4. Namjapyadnya. 
•  Laghurudra (Worshiping Lord Shiva by Sprinkling water) daily in Shravan Mas (During Rainy Season). 

The devotees offered a silver crown of 2 Kg to Shri Swami Maharaj. The Crown is put on the head on every Thursday. The devotees have realized the saying that "Swami would make even the impossible possible". This work is possible only because of consistency in offering worship and obviously because of Swami's blessings.

Many celebrities have offered their services in the math. Nandu Honap the famous music director has selflessly offered his services many times. Some of the other artists who have offered their services include Anuradha Poudwal, Vaishali Samant, Pt. Ajitkumar Kadkade, Pt. Dr. Ram Deshpande, Pt. Raja Kale, Pt. Rajabhau Bobde, Pt. Aniruddha Deshpande, Sham Deshpande, Niranjan Bobde and so on. Nobody of these artists ever demanded for any returns. They just accepted whatever they received in the form of blessings.

The accomplished personalities like Param Pujyaniya Lathkar Kaka, Param Pujyaniya Sadguru Janardan Swami Kher Maharaj of Baroda, Dr.Shankar Abhyankar, Panditkaka Dhanagare Maharaj, Nitinji Gadkari, Devendra Phadanvis, Pankaj Bhujbal, Anil Sole, Vivek Ghalsasi, Vishwas Pathak, Satish Kulkarni never expected any returns.

Swami Seva Mandal has released CD'S and published booklets which provide information about Shri Swami's work. These publications include Geetganga, Kaliyugi Shiv Swarup Shri Swami Samartha.
