About Us

Global Institute for Skill Development India (Private) Limited is collaborated with Bharathiar University, Coimbatore is committed to provide skill based courses and training programs needed to meet the changing demands of industries and the society. The program aims to train school students to get equipped with necessary skills to become successful in the field of Information Technology.

Even though there is a great demand for professional graduates in the industries, unemployment of graduates prevails to a larger extent in the country today, giving a real concern. This is because of the fact that the graduates coming out of colleges are not adequately equipped with required skill sets for employment. GISD has therefore set its objective as a Skill Based Institute providing practical real life training to empower students from school level. GISD also support teachers to upgrade latest trends in Information Technology with help of industrial expertise.

further, over 85% of the +2 passed out students do not go for higher education in the country. The school education does not provide them enough skill for choosing a career after completing their school education. Such school drop-outs are left with no career opportunities. To alleviate such a situation, GISD is committed to promote pre-university education programs for the school students. Skill based computer courses, if offered at the school level, will reinforce their basic knowledge to excel in their studies at higher education and will aid students to take up jobs in any industry. Hence, GISD aims to offer such Pre-University education programs to empower the school students with computer skills.
