Labrador Retriever breeders for over 40 years, Labradale Kennels, owned by Ross and Liane Brennan, has had great success and is recognized internationally for their exceptional Labs. Highcaliber Kennels, owned by Sharon Luckhart, has achieved the highest honours in field, show, and obedience, and offers over thirty years of Labrador lineage.
Offering over 100 years of combined experience and located 45 minutes from Montreal, we offer purebred Labrador retrievers of outstanding quality. Our website is here to introduce you to our wonderful family of Labrador Retrievers. All are CKC Registered and parents (including past generations) of our puppies have certified hips, elbows, eyes and more behind them.
We are very proud of the Labrador pedigrees, as well as all the achievements that our dogs have accomplished over the years. From Best in Show and Specialty Show (Labrador only competition) wins, to field and performance titles, to service dogs for MIRA, to gracing the cover of some of the most respected dog magazines in North America… but most of all the happiness they bring as wonderful companions to our clients and their families.

Sound body and spirit is our priority! We remain devoted to this wonderful breed and continue to strive to maintain our goal to produce sound, quality loving family companions that meet the Labrador standard. All breeding stock is certified clear for hip and elbow dysplasia. We also utilize modern science, completing genetic testing to ensure that our puppies cannot be affected by Exercise Induced Collapse (EIC), Progressive Retinal Atrophy (PRA-prcd), Centronuclear Myopathy (CNM) and Hereditary Nasal Parakeratosis (HNPK). Not only this, but we have proven our lines within conformation, obedience, and field work.

Special Announcements
2018 has arrived and we’re excited about the year ahead.
Our few weekends of showing in Canada and the US have been successful. We have three new Canadian Champions and a Grand champion.
Rebel returns to ring earning three BOB to complete her Grand Ch. She is now taking time off for motherhood, bred to Blake this combines our lines into fourteen and nine generations respectively.
Chip, now eight years old, makes final cut for breed at prestigious Potomac Spring specialty and is awarded Best Male Veteran in both regular and sweeps. Back-to-back Best Veteran in Sweeps at LRCPV and a Judges Award of Merit. Back in Canada, at LOC specialty he also received a JAM . Now taking some time off as out of coat but will be back out later this year.
Clint finishes his Canadian championship with Winners Dog at the LOC Specialty. First weekend out as a special goes back-to-back best of breeds for his first grand points.
Mimi finishes with WB/BOW. This youngster is a girl to be proud of, making the cut at LOC specialty among some lovely girls and boys her first time out as a special.
Rocky is the third of our crew to finish their championships. Thanks to his owner Michael for pursuing this interest.
Miranda, presently with our friend Kitty Thompson of Southpaw obedience, returned to the rally ring earning Rally Intermediate and Advanced titles. Awarded an achievement award by the AKC for doing two titles in back-to-back trials. She also was Reserve winners to three majors in two weekends out, although no points this consistency shows her quality. She is a true representative of the versatility of this great breed.
FLASH! First time out in Rally Excellent Miranda has earned a perfect “100” enroute to this title. She continues to amaze us and make us proud.
We will do limited showing and trialing this year but thus far definitely an exciting year!
