[Intro]
You see, really, you lost already
'Cause you said after your first tune
You weren't gonna do no more, just... psh
Beat's mad haunted, it's gonna haunt him (yeah)
[Verse]
First off, trust me
My mum's house is bait nicer than yours
The person who stuck me up
Would stick you up too if you slipped in North
You think them man should back me
But not one of them are in my crew
When it comes to spitters in North
I've been outsold by who? (Done numbers)
You could never see me at Wireless
And try do somethin' (never)
There ain't no killer in your eyes
Clive, why you bluffin'? (Why?)
I'm good in North, you ain't good in South
But for me you're cussin' (why?)
67 are on your clart
And you ain't on nuttin'
Fuck it, chuck it, bang out of order (yeah)
Draw for my mumzy, I'll draw out Paula
Trust me, my mum owns her yard
Your mum don't, don't go there, darg (don't)
You're not a gangster, you're some fraud (nah)
You don't wanna clash me, you're not hard (nah)
Where's the 44 in the four-door now, Clive? (Tell me that)
Why you dancin' on Smarts?
Think you're smart? Nah, you're not smart (nah)
You won't last, nah, you won't last (nah)
Until you buck 67, you've run out of heart
And Chip ain't run out of bars (never)
I never asked about your D
Mid-beat, she just told me (mad ting)
Crying outside her house (wasteman)
You little fucking Jabroni ('llow that, 'llow that)
Meek don't know your name at all
What's your point, you clown? (Reachin')
With that sloppy flow and delivery
You ain't making Drizzy proud
You've got lightskins taking Ls (mad)
When I shell, you're still Michelle
I get-get Shelly-Ann as well (yeah)
If you're in PD, it's PDL (boom)
You hoe, are you getting paid
To say other MCs' names?
South kid bredding north man
North side to the end, behave
I can't let you feel like
That MC you feel like
Cuh that one you feel like
Comes from my side
Here we put MCs in graves
You little fuckboy, what have you done? (Mad, mad)
Can't chat to me about Tottenham

Spirits inside of me, no joke
Run out of heart, now you need hope
I'm not the one you wan' provoke (ayy)
TOWIE livin', can't be broke (never)
Young boy could never outverse me (nah)
Fuck your Merc, you can't murk me (nah)

But you can't be my son, can't clash like me (dickhead)

Stop bullying girls, you pussy

You wan' fi diss me but won't diss 67
Run out of heart, tart (part-time badboy)
I'll mute him (ayy)
Not a real nigga, he diluted (ayy)
Half roadman, half stupid (ayy)
Just for views, you wanna do this (why?)
The third diss track from Chip in his feud with Yungen, and a response to Yungen’s Oopsy Daisy Riddim.
Chip is referring to the fact that in “Punk,” Yungen said that he would only make a diss track for Chip once:
Yeah, I’m only gonna do this once
After that it’s straight (pssh)
I swear
Chip is saying that Yungen has already lost because he has had to break his promise to keep on replying to Chip as he feels like he has to, which means Chip’s disses must be very powerful to him.
Chip assures Yungen that his Mum obviously has a nicer house than him. This adresses the line from Oopsy Daisy Riddim :
Chip is saying that there is no need for Tinie to buy his Mum a new house, as his Mum is pretty comfortable in her current housing arrangement.
In “Oopsy Daisy Riddim”, Yungen takes a dig about how Chip was mugged in his own ends, Tottenham:
Don’t get why you talk about Tots at time
When you got jacked in Tots that time
Yeah, take off your Hublot, it’s not that time
Remember you got jacked for your chops that time?
Chip is saying that the same person who robbed him would also rob Yungen if he went to Tottenham.
Chip dissed Yungen on “Michelle Riddem” by mentioning how he didn’t make it onto Krept & Konan’s new album The Long Way Home:
You was lost on the long way home
Yungen replied to this diss by mentioning how Skepta and Wretch 32 have not featured him on their album in “Oopsy Daisy Riddim”:
Yeah, I know I didn’t get on the album
But you didn’t get onto Wretch’s
You didn’t get onto Skepta’s
Now tell me who’s been neglected
Chip is now saying that Yungen thinks that Skepta and Wretch somehow have some duty to back him, even though they are not in a crew with him, whereas Yungen is in a crew with Krept Konan. Skepta and Wretch are obviously not in the Cash Motto team, so logic follows that they would not back him.
Chip often mentions how he has sold one million records, and confirms here that no other MC/Rapper from North London has sold more than him.
Chip challenges that Yungen would do anything at Wireless Festival if he were to see him, which addresses Yungen’s bar from Oopsy Daisy Riddim :
I don’t wanna see your big head at Wireless
I’ll make sure you get run out the park
In “Oopsy Daisy Riddim”, Yungen says he would kill/injure Chip if he came to the Wireless Festival:
I don’t wanna see your big head at Wireless
I’ll make sure you get run out the park
Chip refers to this, saying that Yungen is not the type of person to kill someone, even though that’s what he said in his diss.
67 are a group/gang located in South London. One of their members, Dimzy, exposed Yungen for backing out on a show that he & 67 both got booked for. They have a reputation for getting physical as well as lyrical — Chip thinks Yungen’s too much of a pussy to confront them.
This is also a reference to Yungen’s track Ain’t On Nuttin. By saying that he ‘ain’t on nuttin’, Chip is saying that 67 have got some dirt on Yungen, and he can’t do anything to prove otherwise.
In “Oopsy Daisy Riddim,” Yungen mentions Chip’s mum, insinuating that Chip moved to Essex and left his mum in Tottenham:
Now you’re talking ‘bout Tinie’s mum
How dare that come out of your mouth
Like you didn’t leave your mum in North London
Tinie, go and buy his mum a new house
Chip is saying that if Yungen feels the need to talk bad about Chip’s mum, Chip will do the same about his mother, Paula.
Chip addresses Yungen’s bar from Oopsy Daisy Riddim :
Like you didn’t leave your mum in North London
Tinie, go and buy his mum a new house
The reason that Yungen jokingly told Tinie to buy Chip’s mum a new house was that since Chip to Essex, she had been left vulnerable living in a rough area of London. Chip rejects this saying that his Mum is fine in Tottenham – investing money into a house there.
Chip turns this round, insinuating that Yungen’s mum doesn’t even own her house.
In the bar below, Yungen alludes that he’s going to speak to the Murkle Man, the owner of Lord of the Mics to organize a clash between them.
You’re gonna dread that you even replied
It’s like you want me to go Murkle Man
Chip says that Yungen doesn’t want to clash him, telling him that he’s not hard. This shows that Chip clearly doesn’t think Yungen is capable of clashing him.
In his previous diss, Yungen brags about his ‘big whip’, while throughout the video, he is on top of a smart car.
Chip also asks where Yungen’s 44 is, referring to a .44 caliber pistol.
Chip says this to show that having a gun or a nice car does not mean anything lyrically.
Chip is saying that Yungen isn’t smart enough to drag this beef on as long as Chip can, possibly implying that Chip thinks that Yungen will run out of bars for his diss tracks pretty soon, whereas, as Chip has said time and time again, Chip don’t run out of bars.
Until he replies back to 67 calling him out, he’s got no heart.
Chip is known for always saying he can’t run out of bars, for example in “Run Out Riddim”:
Look, I know you man just might run out of bars
Chip can’t run out of bars
I started the year with the bar
I finished the year with the bar
I finished careers with the bars
I-
Or in “96 Bars Of Revenge”:
I don’t even need the full 96 bars, what’s the wheel up bar?
Let me go, ayy
I know you man just might run out of-
In “Punk”, Yungen accused Chip of becoming the boyfriend of Yungen’s “side-chick” that he introduced to Chip:
I gave you a side ting that you went and made your wifey
This allegation carried on in “Michelle Riddem”, where Chip claimed that Yungen’s claim was not true, and that when they were having sex, she told Chip he performed better than Yungen in bed:
And she was cool, she weren’t wife
But why you gotta tell lies, fam? (you fucking liar)
And when I made her play dirty
She said “you can’t fuck like man”
Following this, Yungen said this in “Oopsy Daisy Riddim”:
You said you fuck better than me
Why was you asking about my D? Hmm
Chip now replies, saying he never asked her about it, but rather she told him randomly whilst they were having sex.
In the beginning of “Punk,” Yungen adds a sample from a Meek Mill interview where he struggles to recall Chip’s name, even though he made a song (“Pizza Boy) with him:
Interviewer: Do you know any UK rappers?
Meek Mill: I know, Tinie, errm. My man, what’s my man with Tip, I got a song with him?
Chip asks Yungen what he’s trying to say, as, everyone forgets things sometimes, and Yungen shouldn’t be talking as Meek Mill doesn’t even know who he is.
Yungen made some references To Drake’s Summer Sixteen Meek Mill diss in his track Punk:
I’m out looking for revenge
Fam, you won’t make it to summer ‘16
Chip is saying that by making these references he is only embarrassing Drake (Drizzy) by associating with him, as he isn’t even on the same level, when Yungen probably thinks that he is. Skepta is known for being close friends with Drake and Chip probably feels that Yungen is trying to jump on this and join him.
A reference to Chip’s previous diss track to Yungen, “Michelle Riddim.” Michelle Williams is widely considered one of the least relevant members of Destiny’s Child, especially compared to Kelly Rowland and Beyoncé. Chip compares this to Yungen’s relationship with Krept and Konan. “To shell” is comparing his bars to figurative bullets at Yungen.
PD (Play Dirty) is a group with Yungen, Krept & Konan and their DJ, Docta Cosmic.
Since Yungen is taking the L (loss – a term used to refer when someone loses a beef saga or just gets destroyed in general), if he is in Play Dirty, their whole team have taken the L, meanwhile Cash Motto has taken the victory.
Throughout Yungen’s disses, he has constantly referred to other people, such as Tinie Tempah, Skepta and Wretch 32: the last two to compare to Chip, saying they are the top two MCs from Tottenham and not Chip. For example, in “Punk”:
You said I’m not top two in my ends
You got all of us rubbing our jaws
Maybe you should think about that
Cause you ain’t even top two in yours
You’re not Skeppy and you’re not Wretch
And also in “Oopsy Daisy Riddim”:
Yeah, I know I didn’t get on the album
But you didn’t get onto Wretch’s
You didn’t get onto Skepta’s
Now tell me who’s been neglected
Chip takes a dig at this, saying that Yungen is name-dropping so much that he could have been getting paid by the artists with all the mentions he has been making. He says Yungen is bredding (talking nice about something then talking shit about it in behind its/their back) North London, and makes a point that it is superior to the South, where Yungen is from.
Chip is talking about an MC from his area, North London that Yungen rates and respects, Skepta. So here he is saying, he can’t make Yungen feel like he is as good as Skepta because Skepta is from North London. This refers to Yungen’s line in “Comfy”:
This bent peak cap got me looking like the lightskinned Skepta
The line “we put MC’s in graves” is a reference to Scorcher’s character, Kamale in Top Boy, who was buried alive in the first series.
Chip is telling Yungen that he shouldn’t question his prominence in Tottenham – he was the one who consoled Lukey Maxwell’s Mum in after he was stabbed in 2015.
On the 5th of June 2015, Lukey Maxwell was stabbed in Tottenham and was pronounced dead on the scene.
Lukey was a friend of many in Tottenham, including Chip and had links within the Meridian Crew – a childhood friend of Skepta’s.
Many artists have paid their respect for Lukey, including Drake, and Skepta released the track Lukey World.
Although Yungen has a Merc (Mercedes), it won’t affect Chip winning this war.
Chip mentioned in “Michelle Riddem” that there was apparently a girl who had a restraining order on Yungen:
I’ve got ten bags for the girl
That’s got a restraining order on your clart
Chip carries through with this, naming the girl as “Nara” and asking her to come and expose Yungen for what he is, as he must have done something to make her place a restraining order on him.
Worth noting is that Yungen actually denied Chip’s claim in “Oopsy Daisy Riddim”, which was released before this:
You can make up all the lies you want
You don’t want me to get personal, fam
No girl ain’t got no restraining order on me
Is that how bad I hurt you, fam?
Chip is saying here that Yungen cannot silence him, as he will not run out of bars (things to diss him with), whereas Yungen probably will. He is known for saying this as his slogan, for example in “Run Out Riddim”, a diss track against Bugzy Malone:
Look, I know you man just might run out of bars
Chip can’t run out of bars
Chip is saying that Yungen is scared to diss 67 (a popular group who have a reputation for getting physical as well as lyrical) as he is scared, and isn’t really as gangster as he likes to say he is.
Yungen is really light skinned (probably mixed race) so he’s not fully black, hence he’s diluted, just like when you dilute Ribena, the colour fades.
Chip is saying that, just like Bugzy Malone did with their beef, Yungen is only beefing Chip for the fame and attention, because he knows that this will draw more people to his music. Chip sums up what they are doing pretty well in “Hat-Trick”:
Jump on me to grow, I’m not no Mario mushroom
In the music video for “Oopsy Daisy Riddim”, Yungen throws his pair of Margielas in the bin to prove a point that if Chip spins him out of them, he could just buy another pair:
About spin me out of my Margielas
Like I can’t just buy a new pair
However, at the end of the video, someone (most likely one of Yungen’s friends) was filmed fetching the shoes out of the dustbin and running away with them as Yungen says “Chippy, don’t run!” at the end of the video. Chip is saying that Yungen just did this to cleverly diss Chip whilst actually having to take the shoes out of the bin so that he can clean them and re-wear them.
Yungen’s “Oopsy Daisy Riddim” heavily samples “Oopsy Daisy” by Chip, but due to their beef Yungen didn’t pay for the sample.
A similar situation happened with Jay Z & Nas when Jay Z sampled Nas' voice on his song “Dead Presidents II” in which Nas didn’t make any money from it due to giving the substantive rights to MC Serch.
Chip wasn’t kidding about the legal claim…
