Our systems are tailored to suit a demanding “on-set” environment. With wind, rain, dust, heat, and impact in mind, the Str8shot was designed with military grade switches, buttons, and electronics in heat and weather resistant carbon fiber infused nylon casings.

Our devices are not repurposed fireworks equipment. The Str8shot is designed by Special Effects for the Special Effects Industry. Our devices combine many features of classic pyrotechnic devices with the flexibility and mobility of state of the art wireless systems.

Our transmitters are simple and easy to use and employ some of the most reliable and secure Radio Frequencies on the market today. Simply “ON” and “ARM” your transmitter and receiver and you are ready to go. Easily toggle between “Single” and “Auto” on the transmitter with the touch of a button, and ramp up your speed in real time with a knob, just like you do on an old fashioned clunker box.

Our receivers are incredibly small and equally as easy to use as our transmitters. Each receiver cycles up to 8 circuits and easily fits into any pocket. Link up to 16 receivers together with the simple turn of a dial, and 132 circuits are at your trigger finger. The ability to wirelessly link 16 receivers means no more lengthy wire runs, and also allows you a very broad range of sequencing combinations. Our receivers also feature quick connect circular connectors with shunt caps that allow you to safely pre-wire your run, and make it easy to tie in, on, and arm in seconds.

Demo units will be available for 30 day free trials beginning in November, 2020, and for sale January, 2021. Create an account on this site beginning September, 2020. Your account and your device will be assigned a personalized code. This code adds an additional layer of security to your transmitter and receiver, ensuring that your devices all work together, and that other devices will never interfere with yours.
